Summer reading is extremely important for a student to continue to develop and maintain skills. With this in mind, upcoming 1st grade students are required to read six books chosen from the following authors:

Lois Elhert
Denise Fleming
Bill Martin
Peggy Parish (Amelia Bedelia series)
Cynthia Rylant (Henry and Mudge series)
Dr. Seuss (early readers)
