HOMECOMING WEEKEND OCTOBER 9-10
40th ANNIVERSARY REUNION
It was September 1969. Forty years ago. After many months of planning and hard work, Fort Dale Academy opened its doors and the Fort Dale Family was off to a wonderful start. Hundreds of children have enjoyed the Fort Dale Family experience. Now we’re all grown up with memories we treasure from our years at Fort Dale and friendships we made that have never grown old.
Now it’s time to get this 40th Anniversary Party started - a party for all alumni, parents, grandparents, former faculty and board members, and current Fort Dale families. It’s going to be a BIG reunion and we need your help to spread the word to hundreds of Fort Dale Family members. We also need updated contact info from everyone that can easily be submitted by accessing the “ALUMNI” link at www.fortdale.com.
SAVE THE DATE – Homecoming Weekend is October 9-10. We encourage each senior class to plan your own get-together for Friday night following the football game. Forward your event details to jkatz@fortdale.com to be posted on the website. Saturday night the entire Fort Dale Family will get together for a 40th Anniversary Reunion Dance at the Fairgrounds. Do you Facebook? Join the “I Went to Fort Dale” Facebook group or the FORT DALE ACADEMY 40TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION event site on Facebook so you’ll get the latest updates on the Reunion plans.
Talent abounds in the Fort Dale Family and we need our talented alums to make this happen. If you can design a cool invitation, come up with a great event theme/logo, assemble a hospitality committee, work on the master alumni list, creatively decorate the Fairgrounds Building, create a photo video to show at the reunion or host a Friday night class event in your Greenville home we need you!
