As we return to school after our Christmas break, I wanted to make a couple of requests of each of you. First, we are seeing a spike in the number of COVID cases and this is causing some people to assume they have COVID because they have the symptoms and this assumption is causing them to forgo testing. If someone in your household or someone your student has been around falls into this category, please contact me because your student will need to be quarantined for the required timeline to insure the safety of the other students and staff in our school. Second, if you, your student, or anyone in your household has symptoms please do not assume that it is only a cold or sinus infection. Please have them examined and tested by a medical provider.
If you are unsure about what to do or how long to quarantine your student or if you have any other questions, please contact me.
We are going to be moving through some very stormy times, but we have to remain diligent about using the proven protocols that are in place. Please do not let mental fatigue or apathy allow you to do things that do not put the health of you and your family first and for most.
